Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk half and half, real mayonnaise, eggs, and seasonings.

Step 3

Put some melted butter in the bottom of the 9-by-13-inch baking dish.

Step 4

Add the cheeses to the pasta ( from step one) and mix. *** Save half of the Medium Cheddar for the top*** Add the mixture to a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.

Step 5

Pour the liquid ingredients from step 2 over the pasta-cheese mixture evenly distribute the liquid mixture ( make sure the liquid ingredients seep down into the pasta-cheese mixture). Add the reserved Medium Cheddar to the top. Then transfer to the middle rack of the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Pulse check on the macaroni and cheese around the 25-minute mark. If it’s hot and bubbling around the edges, the center liquid is gone and it looks creamy, take it out. After 30 minutes,

Broil on HI for 2-3 minutes to brown cheese (optional) Overcooking the macaroni and cheese can result in dry macaroni.

All ingredients are mixed, now add the reserved cheese on top and bake. We made Macaroni and Cheese for Thanksgiving Dinner:) Our baking dish is bigger than 9-by-13 inch
